Hi Ryan,

Just wanted to thank you for all the suggestions that you had to help me complete the MS 150 Bike Ride.  It was difficult, but I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete the challenge.  Thanks.

When I started working with Ryan in March of 2005 I was at my wits end, both physically and mentally.  Suffering from Fibromyalgia and Post-Polio Syndrome, I felt weak and tired, sleeping often, while using a walker to help me get around.  I had tried everything!  Physical therapy, massage, nutritionists, countless prescription medications...all helping to a degree, only to end up back where I started, sometimes worse!  This all changed when I started working with Ryan.  We started slow, and progressed steadily each week.  I was skeptical, waiting for the big 'set-back'.  Much to my delight, it never came!  Over the past 1.5 years I've regained my energy, balance, strength, flexibility, and lost 20#'s to boot!  I feel better now than I have honestly felt in 20+ years!  Thanks Ryan!

Mary was at the doctor's office yesterday, and learned her blood pressure was 112/74. A year ago, it often exceeded 190/100. This is a testimony to your Tip of the Week.

Kevin and I are both still losing weight. I have lost 20 pounds and Kevin has lost about 25 pounds. He works out about 6 days a week. Each day, he alternates between the weights & the treadmill. He is up to six miles, partly running and partly walking. He is registered for the Twin Cities Marathon on October 1st!



I walk on the treadmill 5-6 days a week. I am up to ½ mile each day!

After 15 years of steady weight gain despite regular exercise and periodic dieting, I reached the "end of my rope" and hired Ryan.  Ryan developed a comprehensive program tailored to my needs and fitting my lifestyle, and then taught, monitored, and encouraged me through it.  One year later, having lost over 35 pounds while  reducing my body fat from 30% to 12%, I regard the money paid to Ryan as one of the best investments I've ever made.

After going through college with constant weight loss/weight gain cycles I got fed up and decided I needed help.  I had no problems working out 6 days a week, but the exercises I was doing were getting me nowhere, and my weight had plateaued.  I got ahold of Ryan's business card and setup training with him.  It was the best thing I could have ever done!  I went from being 165 lbs and 24.5% body fat down to 140 lbs and 11% body fat and I have remained there for a couple years.  I would not be where I am today without Ryan - he keeps me motivated and my workouts exciting.

During this time I've lost weight, gained muscle mass, and

lessened my body fat. Ryan takes a well rounded approach

in that he not only physically works the body but also focuses

on what we put into our bodies. I am much more conscientious

about how I live my life, have more energy, am healthier and happier

due to having Ryan as my trainer. Working with Ryan, without

The Volleyball season went well with a record of 19-3 and it ended about 2 weeks ago. There are 2 more weeks until Club Try outs so i'm doing the strength and agility work out 3 days a week to get ready for that!

I just wanted to let you know this calorie counting stuff works!  I started last Thursday and weighed in today. I lost 5 lbs!!!!!! I'm so excited. The first few days were hard...but these last few days its been easier. I'm sticking with it. Thanks for your idea of the Journal. It really does work! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

Thank you for the weekly tips, they are great and I save everyone of them!  Since January I am done 23 lbs and I walk at least six days a week!  Now I crave it!! I am doing my weights at least twice a week.
